On the chilly evening of December 6th, a warm welcoming community came together as a whole for not only a great cause but also to show off some of the areas most talented bartenders. Chris “Diddy” Hollowell and Ray “Gizzmo” Ward, owners of The Fastest Bartender Competition hosted their event at Primetime Sports Grill teaming up with the Fight for Savvie Charity. The event had an overwhelming amount of support from all over the DC metropolitan area. During every round bartenders looking to win the grand prize strolled through the audience collecting donation money for the Fight for Savvie Charity.Savvie is just 3 years old currently battling Leukemia. Savvie, such a warm spirited little girl, spent 30 long days at Inova Childern’s Hospital, along side she had the comfort of family and friends holding her each step of the way.

She unfortunately was not insured for a period of 10 days while receiving treatment, resulting in an excess amount of medical bills. Not only was Primetime Sports Grill filled with talented souls but also generous human beings. A grand total of $2,400 was raised for the Fight for Savvie Charity.
Bartenders: Rose Dodge coming in 3rd place, runner up Maddie Troy for 2nd place and the 1st place winner went to Heather O’Niell. A huge thank you went out to Ian Purcell with MurLarkey Distilled Spirits and Billy Reilly with Belle Vodka for sponsoring the successful event.
