After nearly a decade in the Northern Virginia restaurant industry, there is little we enjoy more at Primetime Sports Bar & Grill then giving back to our community. Our most recent philanthropic efforts were especially near to our hearts, benefitting six year-old Savannah — a Cordero family friend who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.
On September 21st, we joined forces with our sister restaurant, Don Tito, to throw the ultimate fundraiser in the youngster’s honor. With the hashtag #FightForSavvie acting as a rally cry, crowds gathered at the Clarendon restaurant to show their support. Guests sipped on a specialty Savvie cocktail while browsing the many raffle and silent auction items. Local venues also joined the fight against childhood cancer by contributing items including gift cards, autographed sports memorabilia, Wizards tickets and a suite for a Capitals game.
By the time DJ Rushour played his final song, over $15,000 had been raised to help Savvie and her family pay for their expensive medical bills and ongoing treatment. The Primetime Sports Bar & Grill staff is absolutely humbled and thankful for the support of our friends, family and fellow local businesses — childhood cancer ends with us!
